Kansas Police Officer Jumps Over Hood of Patrol Car to Avoid Being Struck

A Kansas City police officer who fired his gun at a driver Wednesday had to jump on the hood of his patrol car to avoid being run over by a stolen vehicle, according to records released Thursday.
