California Highway Patrol Officer Hit by Minivan While Directing Vineman Triathalon Traffic
A CHP officer was struck by a minivan in Windsor Sunday morning as he directed traffic during the Vineman triathalon. Sgt. Mack Lewis, a 20-year veteran of the force, was waving traffic through the intersection of Aviation and Airport boulevards when he was knocked to the ground, striking his head on the pavement, according to CHP Officer Jonathan Sloat.
