Washington Officer Struck by Car; Responding Firefighter Involved in Crash

A Bellingham firefighter was involved in a car crash Thursday while responding to a police officer who was struck by a car. The officer was struck on Pulaski Boulevard. He flew backward and his head on the pavement.  He was taken by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital. The firefighter was not seriously hurt.
