New York City Cop Shows Signs of Recovery After Being Struck During Chase

A Police Officer struck by a motorcycle as he chased suspected car thieves on foot in Brooklyn was showing improvement May 24, eight days after the crash, the Police Department said. He had been in critical but stable condition for several days.
