Texas Police Officer Struck by SUV Landed an Estimated 175 Feet Away

A police officer struck by an SUV during a high-speed chase landed about 175 feet from where he was hit, an investigator testified Wednesday. The impact was so powerful that debris from the damaged SUV and the items from Lt. Stuart Alexander’s duty belt were scattered around his body.
