Iowa Sheriff's Deputy's Car Hit While Helping Stranded Vehicle

A Hardin County sheriff's deputy escaped a potentially serious situation this morning. The deputy was on the side of the road helping a stranded motorist when someone hit the squad car from behind, just before noon Monday.
