Indiana Trooper Struck Due to Weather Conditions

An Indiana State Police Trooper was checking on a vehicle that slid off I-69 at the 65-mile marker, when he was hit by another car. Trooper Lee Ross was sitting in his cruiser on the side of the road with his emergency lights on when a woman lost control of her vehicle and struck him and his squad car.
