Firefighter Struck During MDA Collection

A passing vehicle struck a Waxahachie firefighter near the intersection of Marvin and Ferris avenues at about 3:27 p.m. Thursday. The firefighter was working with three others during the department’s annual Fill the Boot campaign benefiting the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
