St. Petersburg, FL Officer Dragged by Car; Two Men Shot

An injured police officer was found lying in the middle of 15th Avenue S near Seventh Street this afternoon after he was dragged 200 yards by a fleeing vehicle. The officer managed to fire  several rounds before falling off the suspect vehicle, according to police, and two men with gunshots were found in that vehicle at 13th Avenue S near Fourth Street.
