Maryland Officer-Involved Shooting In Church Parking Lot
The Montgomery County Police department is investigating a shooting in a Gaithersburg church parking lot involving one of their own officers. Officials have arrested and charged 16-year-old Jospeh W. Nelson of Clarksburg for assaulting an police officer. Nelson is being charged as an adult. He was not struck by any of the rounds fired at him.
