S.C. Deputy Shoots Man After Being Hit by His Car,

A Lexington County sheriff's deputy shot and wounded a West Columbia man Saturday night after the man drove a car into the officer during an attempted traffic stop on Indian River Drive near West Columbia, according to sheriff's reports.
