Officer Hit While Issuing Traffic Summons on I-64 in Virginia

State Police have just released the name of the officer hit and the man that struck him. Trooper Dennis was on the right shoulder with his emergency equipment on while issuing a summons, when he was side swipped and struck by a 2007 Chevy Equinox.
