Chicago Officer in Stable Condition After Being Hit, Dragged by Vehicle

A Chicago police officer is in stable condition after being struck by a vehicle that then fled the wrong way onto the Eisenhower Expressway, causing a four-hour shutdown in the westbound lanes and massive rush-hour congestion, police said.
