Texas D.P.S. Trooper Injured in Crash

Texas Department of Public Safety trooper Kenneth Balzekas was injured around 12:45 Saturday morning when his patrol vehicle was struck while he was stopped on the northbound inside shoulder of Interstate 45, a little north of Rayford and Sawdust Roads, according to officials.
