FLORIDA SHERIFF’S DEPUTY, STATE TROOPER HIT BY OUT OF CONTROL DRIVER

An Osceola County sheriff's deputy and a state trooper are recovering from injuries in a bizarre crash. Investigators say 22-year-old James Kaiser crashed into two other cars including an FHP cruiser near Marigold and Cypress Parkway in Poinciana on Sunday night. The accident injured a trooper and a deputy who were already working an earlier wreck in the same area.

"The driver lost control and hit another vehicle, knocking it into the deputy and the deputy to the ground," said Lt. Eddie Harrell of the Florida Highway Patrol. Both the deputy and the trooper were treated and released from Osceola Regional Medical Center Sunday night. Kaiser is charged with reckless driving.
