U.K. COMMUNITY OFFICER IN HIT-AND-RUN
A police community support officer (PCSO) has been injured in a hit-and-run incident in West Yorkshire. The 20-year-old was hit by a car in Ilkley Road, Addingham on Thursday. Police said the driver failed to stop.
The officer was taken to Airedale General Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the car, which is believed to be a red hatchback, to contact them.
