FLORIDA TROOPER INJURED
A Florida Highway Patrol trooper was lifeflighted to a Dothan hospital this morning after his car was struck in the rear by a semi-tractor trailer rig on Interstate 10 near Chipley. Trooper Milton L. Brown, 44 of Marianna was assigned to a construction crew, which was moving on the interstate, when the semi failed to see the trooper’s car with its lights flashing and crashed into the rear.
The impact sent the trooper's car into a parked pickup truck on the side of the interstate. Trooper Brown is in serious but stable condition. The Highway Patrol says the crash occurred in a marked construction area.
