NEVADA DEPUTY STRUCK BY SUSPECTED DRUNK DRIVER

Early Wednesday morning an El Dorado County Deputy was injured when his car was struck from behind by another car. Deputy Rory McIntyre was conducting a traffic stop when 26-year-old Brook Sullivan ran into his car at about 2:15am. Deputy McIntyre was transported to Barton Memorial Hospital for injuries he received, but was later released.

Sullivan was arrested and charged with DUI. She was booked into El Dorado County Jail and bail was set at $25,000.
