DRIVER OF STOLEN CAR HITS NEW YORK POLICE CRUISER

Rochester Police are looking for two men after a city police cruiser was hit by what police say was a stolen car. It happened when an officer was pulling over a car on Sherman Street around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators say a stolen car behind the police cruiser tried to go around the cruiser and struck the driver's side door of the RPD car. The officer then followed the stolen car and took the female driver into custody.

Two male passengers in the stolen car fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured.
