PATROL CAR HIT ON ROADSIDE, S.C. DEPUTY HOSPITALIZED
An Anderson County deputy was injured early Tuesday morning when his patrol car was hit by another car. Just before 5 a.m., the deputy was on patrol and was in his car on the side of McGee Road near the city of Anderson.
Investigators said that his car was hit by an oncoming car.
The deputy was taken to AnMed Health with a leg injury. The driver of the other car appeared to be intoxicated, investigators said. No information had been released Tuesday morning about any possible charges in the case.
