TETON COUNTY, IDAHO DEPUTY HIT AND INJURED IN ACCIDENT
A Teton County Deputy is home recovering after he was hit by a car while assisting another vehicle. The accident happened around 9:30 Wednesday evening on State Highway 33, just north of Driggs.
According to Idaho State Police, Deputy Fullmer and a driver of a pickup truck were helping a van that was off the roadway when 20-year-old Darin Austin ran into the back of Fullmer's patrol car. The force of the impact rotated the car, with the rear of the car hitting Fullmer. He was transported to Teton Valley Hospital and was treated and released. ISP is still investigating the accident.
