CANADIAN OFFICER HIT BY CAR, SUFFERS MINOR INJURIES

A police officer is suffering from minor injuries after being hit by a car in the Sheppard and Burbank in North York. It started before 2 Saturday afternoon when police attempted to pull over a vehicle.

There was a brief chase and then the driver took a run at the officer -- and shots were fired by police. It looks like the vehicle involved had been stolen.

Police now have 3 suspects in custody -- but its not yet clear what role they may have played in the incident.
