WASHINGTON, DC OFFICER STRUCK IN HIT-AND-RUN

Police are investigating after an officer was struck by a vehicle at Sherman Avenue and Harvard Street in Northwest on Friday. Police said the officer had been monitoring a stolen vehicle at about 5:12 a.m. when he was struck.
