VIRGINIA OFFICER STRUCK BY CAR

A police officer was hit by a car at Tallwood High School right after Friday night's football game ended. He was directing traffic on Lions when a car accidentally hit him. We're told he was not seriously hurt. He sustained a minor ankle injury and has been transported to a nearby hospital. The driver will not be charged.
