POLICE OFFICER STRUCK BY DRUNK DRIVER
A Michigan police officer was hit by a drunk driver early Thursday morning.
Police arrested 22-year-old Jeremy Kitt after he crashed into an Ontwa township police car. Officer Brian Robinson was heading south on Elkhart Road in Cass County, when Kitt came up and hit him from behind.
The rear radar showed that the vehicle was going 80 miles per hour.
Officer Robinson only had minor injuries and was able to chase down and arrest Kitt. Kitt faces charges of operating while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a crash, and for having a stolen license plate.
