KANSAS CITY POLICE OFFICER INJURED IN HIT-AND-RUN

A police officer was injured in a hit-and-run wreck Tuesday night. Police said a driver hit the officer at Brush Creek and Paseo Boulevard. The car left the scene The officer was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to recover.

Police said they took a driver into custody at 38th Street and Paseo Boulevard.
