UNDERCOVER HOUSTON OFFICER STRUCK BY SUSPECT'S CAR

A Houston police officer was run over by a suspect Thursday morning. It happened during an undercover operation in northeast Houston.

Investigators said a suspect was trying to get away from officers and hit one with his car. Another officer shot at the suspect. No one was hit, but the suspect crashed into a nearby tree and was arrested. The officer had minor injuries.
