MAN BUMPS FLORIDA DEPUTY'S PATROL CAR SEVERAL TIMES
A Tampa man is charged with bumping into a deputy's patrol car several times.
An arrest report says James Rose first stopped on an highway then put his truck in reverse and hit the patrol car. He sped away on the interstate and stopped a half mile later, backing into the patrol car again.
The report says Rose then got off at an exit, drove through a yard where he did a U-turn and hit the patrol car for a third time before crashing into a pole. He was arrested and charged with four counts of aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer and one count each of aggravated fleeing, resisting arrest with violence and criminal mischief. He's being held with bail set at $70,000.
