TWO NEW HAMPSHIRE OFFICERS STRUCK IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS
Two New Hampshire police officers were struck and injured by cars in separate traffic incidents.
Amherst officer Ryan Piotrowski was hit by a sport utility vehicle on Route 101 while standing next to his cruiser on Saturday.
He was taken to Elliott Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and was expected to be released on Sunday. The 61-year-old driver was not injured and was not charged.
Hampstead patrolwoman Kathleen Boulter suffered internal injuries when she was struck by an SUV while directing traffic on Friday afternoon. Boulter was directing traffic around the site of a hit-and-run accident when she was hit by a Ford Explorer driven by a 65-year-old woman and was knocked to the ground. The driver was not injured.
