NEW HAMPSHIRE OFFICER HIT BY CAR
Two Manchester (New Hampshire) police officers had to dive out of the way as a car break-in suspect allegedly tried to run them over early today.
Police say one officer suffered minor arm and knee injuries when the car clipped him, cracking its windshield.
The officers were investigating a report around 5 a.m. that someone was breaking into cars. When they arrived, two suspects took off. One allegedly sped at them in a car. The other ran off and may have jumped into the Merrimack River to escape.
