NEVADA TROOPER INJURED IN STRUCK-BY INCIDENT

A Nevada State Trooper has been released from the hospital after he was hit while on duty. It happened Saturday afternoon August 4.

The trooper was hit by a suspected drunk driver on 215 near Eastern. Several people had called police... saying they spotted someone driving erratically. That trooper was waiting for that alleged drunk driver when that driver slammed into him. Eyewitnesses say the driver hit the back of the troopers cruiser, crushing it.

The trooper suffered a concussion and some short term memory loss. He is expected to be okay
