KENTUCKY OFFICER INJURED WHEN CRUISER IS STRUCK

A Louisville Metro police officer was transported to Jewish hospital after being involved in an accident early Saturday morning August 11. Metro police dispatch says the officer’s vehicle was hit by another car around 4:20am near I-265 and Shelbyville Road.

The driver of that vehicle then fled on foot before eventually being caught.

The officer was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
