FLORIDA TROOPER ALMOST STRUCK BY CAR

Investigators are looking for a suspect after he ran from his car early this morning on McCoy road in Orange County. Florida State troopers say they tried to stop the man for speeding. The driver refused to pull over so troopers followed him through the county to Narcoosee Road and finally onto McCoy Road.

McCoy is a dead-end road, so the suspect attempted to turn around and go the other way. Troopers say the driver even tried to hit the patrol car, but was not successful. The suspect jumped out of the car and ran for the woods. The passenger in the car was captured quickly and is being questioned. Local news station cameras caught a man jogging down the road who fit the suspect's description. Investigators are still trying to catch the man.
