EL PASO DEPUTY SUFFERS INJURIES IN HIT-RUN CRASH
An El Paso County sheriff's deputy has suffered minor injuries after his patrol car was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Colorado Springs. Springs police said two deputies had pulled over a car for a traffic stop Thursday morning when another car hit their cruiser and drove away. The second deputy was outside the cruiser and wasn't hurt.Police said the car that hit the cruiser later overturned and the driver fled on foot.
