DRUNK DRIVER HITS PENNSYLVANIA DUI PATROL

It happened along the Schuylkill Expressway around 3 a.m. Sunday. Police say the trooper was sitting in his cruiser on an emergency access road near Roosevelt Boulevard and City Avenue. That's when the driver of another car lost control and slammed into his cruiser.

The trooper was not hurt. The driver of the other car was treated for minor injuries. He now faces DUI charges.
