CINCINNATI POLICE OFFICER STRUCK - SUSPECT CAUGHT AFTER CHASE

A Cincinnati Police officer was struck by a vehicle and slightly injured this afternoon on Race Street. The suspect led police on a short chase and was captured near the U-C Campus.

The officer was transported to U-C Hospital and his injuries are not known. The injury is believe to be to the foot, according to police reports. They are not life threatening.
