MISSOURI OFFICER STRUCK BY CAR

A Fulton police officer is recovering from a broken ankle. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report that Joseph Schramm, 41, suffered moderate injuries when he was struck by a car. It happened around 10:25 p.m. Wednesday evening June 27 on Bluff Street. Schramm was apparently directing traffic when a car didn't respond to his directions and hit him. The car was driven by Deborah Crowson, 52. The Fulton Police Department refused to comment on the incident.
