GEORGIA OFFICER STRUCK BY CAR
An officer investigating a three car accident on Austell Road at around 9 a.m. Friday was standing behind an ambulance when he was hit by a car. The officer was struck by an elderly female driving a white passenger car and was pinned between the car and the ambulance.
Official stated that the officer suffered multiple fractures to his legs and was taken to Atlanta Medical Center in a Life Flight helicopter. He underwent surgery and is listed in stable condition. The two accident victims who were inside the ambulance as well as two paramedics and the elderly driver were also injured.
