VIRGINIA ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER INJURED IN COLLISION

A Virginia Beach animal control officer was injured when her vehicle was hit as she stopped to remove a dead animal from the road. It happened around 11:15 a.m. in the 2200 block of Old Donation Parkway, east of Thunder Wind Road.

Also Online Accident location Police said the officer was taken to the hospital with a leg injury and is in stable condition.
