PENNSYLVANIA POLICE OFFICER HIT BY CAR

A police officer was recovering Sunday morning after being hit by a car.

Police said the officer was struck by a vehicle at Pacific and Maryland Avenue in Glassport just before 2 a.m. Sunday. He was flown to Mercy Hospital with a leg injury.
