OFFICER INJURED IN BELTLINE FOOT CHASE ANXIOUS TO RETURN TO WORK
A Raleigh police officer struck by a car while pursuing a wanted suspect has released a statement. Steven Salina was injured Feb. 27 when he was involved in a foot pursuit with William Davis Henry on the Beltline.
Since the accident, Salina said he is focusing on his recovery and hopes to get back to work soon. He is progressing well and expects to make a complete recovery.
