TEXAS OFFICER STRUCK ON INTERSTATE 30

A vehicle struck a Fort Worth police officer in a crash that followed another collision Monday February 12 on Interstate 30. The police officer was working an accident scene near Cherry Lane at about 7 p.m. when another vehicle skidded out of control and hit the officer, knocking him to the ground. The driver of the vehicle did not appear to be driving under the influence. The officer and one other person involved in the wrecks were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
