CAR PLOWS OVER PENNSYLVANIA OFFICERS DURING TRAFFIC STOP

Two police officers were rushed to the hospital after being hit by an alleged drunk driver along Roosevelt Boulevard on Tuesday February 20. The incident occurred at the intersection of C Street and the Boulevard, located in the Olney section of Philadelphia. Police said a car, driven by someone who they said was intoxicated, rear-ended the police cruiser in the southbound lane as officers were stopping another car. One of the officers was listed in serious, but stable condition with head and face injuries. The other officer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
