WISCONSIN DEPUTY'S CONDITION UNIMPROVED

A Milwaukee County sheriff's deputy remained in critical condition Tuesday. Deputy Tim Johnson, 29, suffered serious head injuries early Friday January 12 after a driver spun out of control and struck him while he was clearing an accident on I-94 near the on-ramp to northbound Highway 41, the department said. The Milwaukee County district attorney's office is expected to review the case to determine whether the 25-year-old woman who struck him will be charged.
