KENTUCKY STATE TROOPER HIT BY CAR; SEVERELY INJURED

Trooper Billy Joe Caudill was investigating an accident on U-S 23 on the night of December 26 when he was struck by a car driven by a 16-year-old boy. Caudill suffered multiple injuries. He's reported "stable" at Pikeville Medical Center.
