ILLIONOIS TOLLWAY WORKER INJURED BY HIT AND RUN DRIVER

Wayne Pauley is in critical condition at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove after a hit-and-run driver struck him on I-88, also known as Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway, between Naperville and Yackley roads. As part of a snow removal team, Pauley, 42, was helping a driver in another crash when a car smashed into him just after 2 a.m. Saturday. A state police spokesman says the worker has been hospitalized and is in critical condition.
