BALTIMORE POLICE OFFICER HIT BY CAR

A city police officer was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital after she was struck by a car in the middle of downtown Baltimore around 5 p.m. Thursday.

Skyteam 11 was over the scene at Hopkins Place when the officer dressed in street clothes was hit as she crossed at Baltimore and Gay streets.

It is unclear if the officer was a plainclothes officer or if she was off duty.
