INDIANA TROOPER ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY IN CRASH
An Indiana state trooper escaped serious injury Sunday morning November 19 in a roadside crash with an out-of-control car on the Indiana Toll Road. Trooper T.L. Morrow, 55, of Gary, was standing outside his squad car about 7:15 a.m. assisting a driver who had spun off a "slushy" road near the Toll Road's intersection with Interstate 65. Morrow saw the crash coming and tried to run off the road. The squad car hit him and threw him to the ground. Morrow was treated for scrapes and pains in his shoulder, leg, elbow and head at Methodist Hospitals Northlake Campus in Gary.
