ONE OFFICER SHOT, ANOTHER HIT BY CAR IN OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA AMBUSH
The police officer who was hit by a fleeing vehicle during a shootout in Opa-Locka on Friday October 13 has been released from the hospital and is home.
During the incident, one officer was shot and another was hit by a fleeing vehicle. The officers, from Miami-Dade and Opa-locka, were in an unmarked car and had just turned into an apartment complex at about 9:20 p.m. when they were shot at.
