MINNESOTA STATE TROOPER HIT BY SUSPECTED DRUNK DRIVER
A Roseville man is in jail suspected of driving drunk and hitting a Minnesota state trooper.The crash happened in the early morning hours of Saturday October 21 on I-94 north of Dowling Avenue. State trooper Dan Dixon and a community service officer were just about the clear the scene of a rollover crash, when a 28-year-old driver slammed into their patrol car going about 60 mph. Officers at the scene said the driver appeared heavily intoxicated. Dixon and the other officer suffered injuries, but were let go from the hospital Saturday morning. The driver may face charges of criminal vehicular operation.
He has one prior DWI conviction from Wisconsin.
